Food Vendor Info

The 2024 Thayer County fair dates are Wednesday, August 7th-Saturday August 10th.  We are in need of food vendors this year for our fair.  As always, we would love to have a variety of foods for everyone to enjoy.  Please take the time to fill out the required information below.  The registration deadline is July 26th, 2024.

This year’s fair will kick-off with the annual parade Wednesday evening.  The days will feature 4-H exhibits and shows, as well as FFA and Open Class exhibits.  The evening hours will consist of a carnival, beer garden, and grandstand entertainment, the final night being John Michael Montgomery in concert!  We look forward to seeing you be a part of our fair!

Guidelines: 

  • Locations will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis with a $75 paid registration fee.
  • Electricity will be provided with either 110 Volt or 220 Volt hookups. 
  • Set-up time for vendors is TUESDAY August 6th between 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., or WEDNESDAY August 7th 9 a.m.-Noon.
  • The carnival requests that NONE of our food vendors serve anything they serve!  A Nebraska Food Permit & Certification of Insurance is required.  For information on Food permits, call the State of Nebraska Food Inspector. 
  • ICE will be available for a fee.  If you would like to purchase ice, please let us know approximately how many bags you will need each day.

Forms need to be received, with payment by July 28, 2024. After that date, you are not guaranteed a spot.
